Former Danish Chief of Defence, Admiral Tim Sloth Jørgensen (60) has taken up the post as Senior Advisor in Terma.
Tim Sloth Jørgensen will focus his efforts on business opportunities related to anti-piracy as well as new business opportunities related to climatic changes in the arctic areas. Thus, he will predominantly focus on international assignments and markets.
Due to his 35 years of knowledge and experience from the Danish Defence, Tim Sloth Jørgensen will contribute to a further development of Terma’s business opportunities. He will be based in Terma’s department at Herlev.
About Tim Sloth Jørgensen
Tim Sloth Jørgensen is 60 years old. He was Chief of Defence from August 2008 to October 2009. Since 1974, when he initiated his military training at the Royal Danish Naval Academy, he has served in the Danish Defence, including posts as Administrative Officer in the Ministry of Defence, Head of Department and Department Manager in the Defence Command Denmark, and Chief of the Admiral Danish Fleet. From 2002 and until his appointment as Chief of Defence, he was Head of Staff.
Hi-tech company Terma develops products and systems for defense, civilian authorities, and security applications, including command and control systems, radar systems, self-protection systems for aircraft, space technology, and advanced aerostructures for the aircraft industry. The company has a total staff of 1,200 and realized 2010/11 revenues of MEUR 190.
