During an apprenticeship at Terma, you get the chance to hone your skills, push boundaries, and unlock your full potential. Whether you dream of developing and testing electronic equipment, analyzing vast datasets and implementing technology, or working with industrial equipment, the apprenticeships we offer will set you on the path to success. You will work independently on your own tasks and areas of responsibility, while also becoming a part of dedicated teams who will contribute to your success. Additionally, you will be assigned a mentor who will provide you with individual guidance and advice throughout your apprenticeship.

What to Expect
We promise you an exceptional learning experience in an international working environment, where we have a long tradition of training apprentices. On average, we welcome 7 talented apprentices each year, representing a diverse range of vocational programs.
The duration of your apprenticeship varies depending on the structure of the education program, as well as an individual assessment of your professional and educational background, which may allow for credits to be applied.

When joining Terma in as an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to become a member of our Apprentice Club - a community that unites all apprentices from various departments and programs. Every other year, the Apprentice Club arranges an overseas trip, rotating between destinations within the EU and the US. In the most recent trip, approximately 20 apprentices participated. While we provides financial support for these trips, they are exclusively planned by the apprentices themselves. These trips serve both vocational and social purposes, offering a balance of professional development and enjoyable activities. In general, you will experience several social initiatives when being a member of the club which means you will experience a good foundation for sharing experiences and sparring.

Apprenticeship Programs
Electronics Technician
As an electronics technician apprentice, you will dive into the world of electronics, learn about components, circuits and troubleshooting. You will gain hands-on experience in assembling, testing and maintaining electronic systems, providing a solid foundation for a career in the electronics industry.
Industrial Technician
The role of the industrial technician apprentice involves the production and maintenance of machinery and equipment. You will learn about process optimization, quality control and mechanical systems. Through practical training, you will acquire the skills to handle complex industrial challenges and contribute to efficient production operations.
IT & Data Technology
As an apprentice within IT, you will be trained in handling complex IT systems, networks and support. You will have the opportunity to work with different technologies, troubleshooting and user support, thus building important skills in the IT world that are essential to deal with today's digital challenges.
