The visit emphasized the strategic importance of defense industry collaboration between Denmark and Germany, as well as the role of Danish defense companies in contributing to European and allied security. It also served as a platform to showcase how Terma’s advanced technologies are supporting critical defense and security objectives across the region.

During the visit, the ministers were received by Terma’s CEO, Henriette Thygesen, and members of the executive leadership team. They toured the facility, engaged with employees, and discussed key areas of cooperation, including the role of innovation and industrial partnerships in enhancing NATO’s deterrence and defense posture.

The dialogue centered on how technological solutions can address emerging threats and strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure—an increasingly urgent priority in the current geopolitical environment. The ministers were also briefed on Terma’s overall capabilities and contributions to defense and security, reflecting the company’s role as a trusted partner for allied forces.

The visit comes at a time of heightened focus on defense preparedness and regional security across Europe. Both Denmark and Germany are stepping up investments in defense and placing greater emphasis on cooperation with trusted industrial partners to deliver operationally effective and future-proof solutions.

“We are proud to host the visit by the Danish and German Ministers of Defense, which highlights the importance of strong partnerships in a complex security landscape. Germany is a key ally for Denmark and key market for Terma. This visit underscores our shared commitment to strengthening European defense through trusted collaboration and innovative technology”, said Henriette Thygesen, CEO of Terma.
