New Member of External Affairs Commission
ASD is the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe

Brussels, Belgium - In connection to the opening of Terma Brussels, Anne Mette M. Søndergaard, head of the Brussels office, has obtained a seat in the External Affairs Commission (EAC) of ASD (Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe).

EAC is the body that interacts with EU institutions in Brussels and works to shape and influence the European policy-making processes. EAC consists of company representatives based in Brussels and European national associations. From this position, Anne Mette M. Søndergaard will be able to represent Terma and the Nordic view on European defense and security policy and help define coherent and pan-European positions.

“The regulatory and policy framework of the defense and security sector is complex and very difficult to approach single-handedly as a company. Working through a solid organization such as ASD gives the industry a much bigger voice.  Terma is much honored to take part in the work of EAC, and we look forward to supporting important issues of common interest to the industry,” says Anne Mette M. Søndergaard, Director, European Affairs.
