Terma Secures Landmark Naval Contract, Expanding Strategic Presence in Middle East and Africa

Terma has signed a major contract with Albwardy Damen to deliver advanced mission-critical systems for a new series of naval vessels, significantly strengthening its position in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. 

The agreement - one of Terma’s most substantial naval contracts in MEA to date—includes the delivery of the C-Flex Tactical Mission System, SCANTER 6002 Radar, and C-Guard Decoy Launching System. Together, these integrated technologies will enhance situational awareness, survivability, and operational effectiveness for regional naval forces.

While Terma’s SCANTER radars are already deployed on select vessels in the region, this agreement marks the first wide-scale introduction of the company’s comprehensive naval systems portfolio to MEA customers. It reflects growing confidence in Terma’s defense technologies and its commitment to long-term regional partnerships. 

Albwardy Damen, partly owned by the globally renowned Damen Shipyards Group, will lead the construction of the vessels. Their legacy of quality and innovation complements Terma’s mission to deliver high-performance, mission-ready solutions that meet modern naval demands.
