At a time of heightened global tensions and record defense investments, Terma will participate in the Paris Air Show 2025 to demonstrate its latest self-protection systems and aerospace manufacturing capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to allied security and transatlantic cooperation.

As Europe and the United States respond to a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, the Paris Air Show is expected to serve as a key forum for dialogue, collaboration, and technological advancement among global defense actors.

Combat-Proven Capabilities on Display

Terma will highlight its mission-ready, combat-tested self-protection solutions, currently fielded on the Ukrainian F-16 fleet, reflecting the company’s role in supporting partners facing active threats. The company will also present its advanced aerostructures manufacturing for both military and civilian platforms—drawing on more than 70 years of innovation.

Rising Defense Investment in Europe and the U.S.

According to the European Council, EU member states increased defense spending by more than 30% between 2021 and 2024, with an additional €100 billion in real growth projected by 2027. The recently announced ReArm Europe initiative is set to mobilize nearly €800 billion, emphasizing resilience, rapid deployment, and joint procurement of advanced technologies.

In parallel, the United States is debating a proposed $150 billion increase to its already substantial $850 billion defense budget. Key areas of investment across Europe and the U.S. include air and missile defense, UAVs, cyber defense, and military mobility.

Defining the Future of Allied Defense

The Paris Air Show will also reflect the shifting dynamics of global defense cooperation, as European leaders consider the creation of a European Defense Mechanism to support joint procurement and capability development. Denmark, a vocal advocate for a unified European defense vision, has increased its defense spending above 2% of GDP and continues to call for a more cohesive European approach to security.

“The Paris Air Show 2025 will highlight the growing alignment among allies and the need for resilient, interoperable defense solutions,” said a Terma spokesperson. “We look forward to engaging with partners and contributing to the shared goal of global stability.”

Terma’s presence at the event reaffirms its dedication to delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that help safeguard allied forces around the world.
