Denmark and Washington, D.C. - Denmark-based Defense and Security Group Terma A/S appointed Adina C. Cherry new Vice President, Business Development, Airborne Systems.

Terma’s Airborne Systems Business Area has a large and growing activity in the U.S. – that is sales of airborne solutions to U.S. customers and U.S. export to the global market. In order to meet our customers with one voice as well as take full advantage of Terma’s global presence, all airborne business development activities are organized under one person.

Positioned at Terma North America HQ in the U.S. and leveraging an extensive background in international sales and technology, she will head the airborne sales organization in providing strategic solutions and key products to government customers” says Dan Ulrich, Senior Vice President, Airborne Systems.

Terma Airborne Systems encompasses areas including electronic warfare self-protection systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, applied aerostructures, as well as audio solutions for improved situational awareness.

Adina Cherry joins Terma with more than 20 years of experience in international business development and program management, ten of those with Northrop Grumman.  Her responsibilities included customer relationship management, providing geopolitical, operational, budgetary, and competitive context for strategy development and customer engagement, leading product and program teams, and establishing the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Division’s International Program Office. 

Adina Cherry spent the previous seven years with SAIC in various management positions, including Strategic Partner Manager in New Delhi, India, and Abu Dhabi, UAE for several years. Early in her career, she worked as a Systems Engineer on diverse programs including analyzed and processed helicopter flight test pattern data for Rotorcraft Precision Terminal Instrument Procedures. She holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and is a PMI Certified Program Management Professional.
