The industry creates the future – Terma influences it

At the Danish National Championship in Skills, the many exciting vocational training opportunities in Denmark are presented. Terma participates along with other companies at the Confederation of Danish Industry’s stand.

Access to qualified employees threatens to become a challenge for Danish industrial companies. Therefore, it is necessary that more young people become aware of the many exciting, advanced and, challenging tasks within the industry.

With more than 20 industrial apprenticeships, Terma provides a significant contribution to giving young people a good starting point for an exciting career within the industry. After completing the training, some continue to further studies or find jobs in other companies, and some remain in Terma, working as plastic engineers, industrial engineers, electronics engineers, or data technicians.

This year, the Danish National Championship (DM) in Skills takes place in Fredericia in Denmark on 4, 5, and 6 February. It is the annual Danish Championship for young people from the vocational training sector. And it is the place where young people can gain information about a variety of vocational training opportunities. Thousands of young people from lower secondary school spend a day at DM in Skills and obtain inspiration for their educational choices. Therefore, the Confederation of Danish Industry is part of DM in Skills to show and tell visitors why they should choose a future in the industrial sector.

Terma participates at the Confederation of Danish Industry’s stand on Friday, 5 February. Christian Nedergaard who is a Terma apprentice (Electronics Technician) will be ready to answer questions and talk about his experiences as an apprentice at Terma along with Senior Engineer Brian Søndergaard Hansen.
